    A tasty sauce for all of your pasta needs – low if fat and high in flavor. Add more garlic or basil to suit your taste.

    1/2 cup water
    1 chopped onion
    1 chopped green pepper
    1 chopped carrot
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
    28 oz. can of tomatoes
    1/2 cup chopped fresh basil
    2 Tablespoons chopped fresh oregano
    1 teaspoon salt
    1/4 tsp ground black pepper

    Simmer the onion, green pepper, garlic, carrot and parsley in the water until almost tender

    Add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 20 minutes. Cool and blend until smooth in a food processor or blender.
